Why SANPO exists

Most Japan travel content stops at the famous spots. SANPO goes one street back — the local routes, the timing tricks, the small shops — and turns them into something you can actually do today.

We start in Kamakura, near Tokyo, then expand across the day-trip belt: Enoshima, Yokohama, Hakone, Kawagoe, Nikko.

How we work
