A few things to know before you go

Do I need fishing experience?

Watch a working fisherman up close. Activities and any hands-on participation depend on conditions and the fisherman’s guidance. An English-speaking guide interprets explanations and conversations.

What if the weather is bad?

Southerly winds may prevent the boat from going out. The planned approach is to review conditions 3–4 days ahead. If the operator cancels for weather, the proposal is a full refund or a different date. Conditions and the final decision will be confirmed before booking.

Can children join?

The proposed minimum age is 6, accompanied by a parent or guardian. Child pricing applies to ages 6–11; ages 12+ pay the adult rate. Children count toward the limit of 5 guests per boat. Insurance coverage, suitable life jackets and supervision arrangements are being finalized.

What will we eat?

A charcoal-grilled meal based on the catch. Fish species and quantities vary. Please mention dietary requirements in your request; availability of alternatives must be confirmed.

Will I get seasick?

The boat goes out on open water, so motion and seasickness are possible. Please contact the team before booking if boat travel is a concern. Onboard toilet and shade arrangements are still being confirmed.

How does booking work?

Send your preferred date and group size. RICE will confirm availability and terms by email. This request does not confirm a booking or take payment.

What is the cancellation policy?

The draft policy is free cancellation up to 7 days before, 50% from 6 days before through the day before, and 100% on the day. Final terms will be presented before a real booking or payment.
